The enchanting adventure of JONSEN ISLAND is rooted in a journey to Southern California, in Oceanside, at the vibrant heart of the seaside hustle and bustle. It is there that Thomas, eager for discovery, enters the den of a local shaper. On a vintage surfboard from the JONSEN FACTORY of 1973, he finds a treasure: an old sticker featuring an octopus, an enigmatic symbol bearing his mother's maiden name, "Jonsen".
Intrigued and captivated, Thomas, also known as Canto, dives headfirst into the history of this artisanal brand born in the 70s, shaped by a Norwegian passionate about the Californian lifestyle.
The prodigious illustrator, won over by the octopus's tentacular magic, decides to revive the forgotten brand. With all his creative genius, he reshapes the iconic logo, where the octopus's tentacles symbolize the breadth of the adventure.
